イムハタ八里さんの尽力により、世界最大規模のファーリー・コンベンション (furry convention, 比較的大規模なケモノ系イベント) である「アンスロコン2012: 夏の夜の夢 (Anthrocon 2012: A Midsummer Night's Dream) 」のアートショー (Artshow, アーティストは新出の作品を最低落札価格を付けて展示し、鑑賞者は気に入った作品に設定額以上の希望落札価格を書いて入札・落札することが出来、入札者が多い場合はボイスオークションに回されて落札されるという、本格的なファーリー・アートの催し物) に出品した作品の縮小版です。

テーマはズバリ、「昼夜邂逅と和洋折衷」。アメリカのピッツバーグ (Pittsburgh, アンスロコンの開催地) でファーリーズ (furries, 簡単にいうと「ファーリー」が好きな人たちの総称) が盛り上がっているとき、日本はほぼ地球の影に隠れてしまっています。それでも、ボク達は繋がっているんだ！ という想いで描きました。

This is a scaled down version of the artwork which I exhibited at the Artshow of the largest furry convention on the world: "Anthrocon 2012: A Midsummer Night's Dream" through the efforts of Mr. Imuhata.

The theme is "the encounter between day and night" and "the compromise between Japanese and European styles". When furries are in full swing at Pittsburgh, Japan is almost in an enormous shadow by the earth, but we are, nevertheless, tied to each other with invisible bands — I drew this with that feeling.
